You order a pod and they will come and drop it off at your house. Normally after it gets dropped off you have approximately 30 days to pack up everything into it you would like. Following the loading you have a couple of options you can either have the pod stored at their storage space or you can have it dropped off directly in front of your new house. One huge upside to using any sort of storage pod is that it is cheaper than having to get a moving truck and it's also a lot more convenient as you don not have to coordinate a huge move in a short amount of time. Most storage pod companies will just charge you a flat rate in the neighborhood of $200 rather than charge you per day.
