Dog vitamin, the basics
Vitamin A and its precursor beta carotene are both super antioxidants that destroy carcinogens and boost immune function. Vitamin B complex (which includes folic acid) and B2 (otherwise known as riboflavin) are important to eye health, but Vitamins C and E, combined with Vitamin A, are the real powerhouses when it comes to your dog's vision problems. A powerful antioxidant, Vitamin C protects the other antioxidants and stimulates the immune system through the production of antiviral substances and white blood cells. It fights the effects of free radicals and lowers the risk of cataracts. Vitamin E, also powerfully effective in fighting free radicals, works with Vitamin C to support your dog's vision health.
