For many years, the selective breeding of dog has been carried out to get the desired dog breeds. Selecting dog breeding is done by two ways firstly, inbreeding the dogs from the same ancestral lines and secondly, inbreeding the dogs from different ancestral lines. In the same ancestral breeding, the same dog breeds mate to reproduce the offspring of the same line. For enhancing the features of a specific breed, different combination of dog breeds are bred. Therefore, dog breeds originate because of the selective dog breeding.
