Brake repair, an in-depth review
If a brake light does come on when the parking brake is disengaged, it's time to have the brake fluid level checked. Low levels of brake fluid will cause the brake light to illuminate. Have you detected a pungent odor or pool of light amber colored liquid underneath your car? This signals a brake fluid leak that requires immediate attention! Take that car in for brake repair right away. Rotor surface issues cause brake pedals or wheels to vibrate and also require immediate brake repair. Brake wear indicators scraping against the rotors cause brakes to squeal when the brake pedal is released; again, a situation that calls for brake repair.
